My Bucket List.

I have loved creating my bucket list on Pinterest! It is so much fun and gives you a real excitement for all the things you want to do in your life, so I thought I'd give you a sneak peak at mine... (BTW I plan to do a follow up post on all the thins I have completed on my bucket list!)

1.

This is definitely on the list for Summer 2015.  It looks so fun but apparently its harder than it looks....

As soon as I turn eighteen we plan to visit new york!  Haven't quite figured out how we're financing this.....donations anyone?

Best fashion app: POLYVORE

I love the app Polyvore (available from the app store free)!  It allows you to put together loads of gorgeous outfits,  really easily.  So in celebration of this app I am going to post some of my outfits I have created!

1.

This is a very summery outfit :) I feel it would look quite smart for lunch or a summer function but would be very comfortable because its only shorts and a crop top. 

2.

This is definitely for those really cold winter days when all you want to is stay in your pyjamas!  some comfy black jeans/jeggings, a soft t-shirt or flannel and a big comfy coat.  I love the mustard colour of the bag, so gorgeous.  For even more comfort you could swap out the shoes for converse :)     

3.

I feel this outfit is perfect for autumn/fall or for summer evenings when it gets a tad chillier.  The sperrys and stripy top give it a bit of a preppy vibe but the cardigan really chill.

5.

I am in LOVE with the blue suede shoes and beautiful necklace.  (just so you know I don't anything like them in my wardrobe but a girl can dream, right?). 

6.

The only thing I actually own in the outfit is the perfume but the blouse is from H&M so is really affordable.   My favourite Autumn trend is felt hats (there everywhere I go), there just so glamorous and cute! :)

The British Tag.

Lately I've seen a couple of British youtubers ( Lily Melrose and essiebutton) and some bloggers do this tag, so I thought I'd give it a go!

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? 

Usually none, I am not a massive tea drinker (Gasp).

2. Favourite part of your roast?

Roast potatoes, crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle (mmm).

3. Favourite dunking biscuit?

Rich teas. 

4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?

Cards and board games. I don't even know if its a British thing to love playing cards in the evenings? 

5. Favourite word?

Cavendish (technically a surname).

6. Cockney rhyming slang?

I don't know any.

7. Favourite sweet?

I don't like sweets (I'm definitely a chocolate girl). 

8. What would your pub be called?

The Earl of Sandwich (This is a real title! hehe). 

9. No.1 British person?

Colin Firth (my favourite Colin Firth films are Bridget Jones's Diary and Pride and Prejudice 1995).

10. Favourite shop / restaurant?

Shop: Jack Wills (although I wish it was kinder to my piggy bank).

Restaurant: Pizza Express (really yummy pizzas. They're everywhere and there are some really lovely ones, like on the King's Road, Chelsea, London and by the canal in Birmingham City Centre)

11. What British song pops into your head?

Th national anthem (Is that even a song?).

12. Marmite?

LOVE IT.... In my cheese sandwiches.

Style crush: Nina Dobrev

As usual with my 'Style Crush' posts I will pick my favourite four looks ( Casual, Formal, Winter, Summer)

I don't know about you but I LOVE the Vampire Diaries (its on Netflix if you haven't checked it out).  Nina is very stylish, beautiful and chic! I can't wait to see her in the new movie 'Let's Be Cops' (released in late August).

1. Casual


I like this very plain and simple look of Ninas ( although its obvious that Ninas just getting her mail or something because of her lack of shoes). I always think that a black shirt and white jeans are a very easy look to pull off and then the dangly earrings give a hint of glamour.
2. Formal


When I am looking for a celebrity's best look, I always look towards the Met Gala.  Nina Dobrev sure didn't disappoint in this gothic, vampy (fitting, I know) gown / jumpsuit. I am glad she kept the accessories,make-up and hair simple as the dress is so complicated.
3. Winter


I love that Nina is wearing a dress in winter but still looks warm and cosy.  The dress is beautiful (DKNY, I believe) and then by wearing all black she looks sleek and stylish.  I am definitely planning to wear some dresses this winter with black tights, booties and leather jacket.
4. Summer


I love this gingham dress, so bight and summery! I think the triangle shaped material on the chest makes the dress very flattering by making the waste appear smaller.  Nina (or her stylist) has accessorized simply but beautifully with simple black heals, white clutch (matching the white dress), silver bangles and blue earings (matching the blue squares all over the dress).
